Quranic Arabic
Quranic Arabic is the form of Arabic in which the Holy Quran is written. Quranic Arabic is also called classical Arabic
The program focuses on Qur’anic vocabulary and introduces commonly repeated words in the Qur’an.
It also includes each essential language skill: speaking, reading, writing, and listening.
Why it is important?
1-Students will feel the sweetness of the Quran, as reading Quran has two aspects to it:
a. The intellectual aspect إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُون
Indeed, we have sent it down as an Arabic Qur’an that you might understand. [12:2]
b. The spiritual aspect وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَاءٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۙ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا خَسَارًا
And We send down of the Qur’an that which is healing and mercy for the believers, but it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss. [17:82]
2- The Arabic language preserves the “Deen”, preserves the integrity of the religion and preserves the proper understanding of the religion
Omar Ibn Al Khattab said: “Learn Arabic because it is part of your “Deen”
“تعلموا العربية فانها من دينكم”
3-Nuances of Quranic Arabic is one of the most powerful doorways to deeper reflection that plants the seeds of wisdom to grow in our lives
